1. Purpose of Passion Pairing

Passion Pairing is a student-created website made as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project. The purpose of the website is to help high school students find meaningful opportunities with nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations.

Passion Pairing is meant to support community involvement, student growth, and connections between students and organizations.

2. No Guaranteed Placement

Submitting an interest form or application does not guarantee that a student will be selected, accepted, or matched with an organization.

Each participating organization manages its own application process and decides whether a student is a good fit based on its needs, availability, and requirements.

3. Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for:

• Submitting accurate information
• Communicating respectfully
• Following organization rules and expectations
• Getting parent or guardian permission when needed
• Making sure an opportunity meets school, club, or service-hour requirements

Students should not submit false information, inappropriate messages, spam, or anything harmful through the website or forms.

4. Organization Responsibilities

Participating organizations are responsible for:

• Providing accurate opportunity information
• Reviewing student interest forms or applications
• Communicating expectations clearly
• Supervising students when required
• Following their own safety, volunteer, and privacy policies
• Deciding whether each student is a good fit

Passion Pairing helps students discover opportunities, but each organization is responsible for managing its own student involvement process.

5. Third-Party Links and Forms

Passion Pairing may link to outside websites, forms, applications, social media pages, or organization resources. These links are provided to help students and organizations connect.

Passion Pairing is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, safety rules, or decisions of outside websites or organizations.

6. Website Information

Passion Pairing tries to keep information accurate and updated, but organization details, opportunities, links, and availability may change.

Students should review each organization’s information carefully and contact the organization directly if they have questions.

7. Respectful Use

Users agree to use this website respectfully and honestly. Users should not misuse forms, submit harmful content, impersonate others, or use the website in a way that could hurt students, organizations, or the purpose of Passion Pairing.

8. Changes to the Website

Passion Pairing may update website content, organization profiles, forms, resources, or these Terms of Use as the project grows.
